Biography
Moungi Mohammed Salah Bawendi(Arabic: منجي محمد صلاح الباوندي; born 15 March 1961) is an American chemist. He is currently the Lester Wolfe Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bawendi is known for his advances in the chemical production of high-quality quantum dots. For this work, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2023.
